Clearinghouse Connects Fall 2013

In the Fall 2013 edition of the Clearinghouse Connects, check out our Kickoff event where we celebrated the Clearinghouse becoming a university-wide center. Also included is our achievement of reviewing over 650 programs. If you are interested in choosing and implementing the right evidence-based program, contact out Technical Assistance team today. In each issue we choose a program that may be of interest to professionals working with military families. This issue the spotlight is on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program, which has been placed as Effective on our Continuum of Evidence.
1. Kickoff Event
The Penn State Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness is now a university-wide center! On Friday, Nov. 1, more than 100 people gathered in the Nittany Lion Inn Board Room to recognize the success of the Clearinghouse and to launch it as a center. 4. Spotlight On: Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
In this blog, we turn the spotlight on Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). BBBSA is a mentoring program designed to provide youth with a one-to-one relationship with a caring adult.
