Schools Empowering At-Risk Students
Schools Empowering At-Risk Students (SEAS) is a community-based participatory research project in which project staff translate and apply evidence within a tiered prevention model to address socioemotional risk for military-connected students. Project staff develop online training materials and provide consultation to help schools implement best practices in a way that is sustainable and manageable given the unique needs of their schools and community. Project staff are piloting the development and implementation of a consultation model that utilizes motivational interviewing to develop and implement a multi-tiered systems of support for behavior (MTSS-b) framework in multiple elementary and secondary schools.
