Associate Director
Deb Johnson, M.B.A., is the Associate Director of the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State. She supports the Clearinghouse’s day-to-day efforts related to staff considerations, strategic operations, and operational management.
Deb received her M.B.A. from St. Francis University with a concentration in Human Resources and a B.S. in Human Resource Management from the Pennsylvania State University. She has spent over 2 decades supporting staff and faculty in various Human Resources roles. She spent 14 years as a Human Resource Consultant and supported business and IT units at the University. Most recently, she was a Business Systems Analyst in the Worklion Management Office. In this position, she maintained the functional and technical needs of the University’s payroll and human resources’ systems. She was responsible for ongoing system, maintenance, and business-process efficiencies. Coming from a long line of military family members, she is excited to support the Clearinghouse’s mission to assist partners in supporting military communities. She enjoys tennis, pickleball, reading fiction, and traveling.
