We conduct Applied Research in order to solve practical problems.
Our research is designed in close collaboration with our partners. To solve practical problems we first gain critical background information from all relevant stakeholders; often meeting with numerous people on installations and in communities. With in-depth understanding of problems and challenges, we work with our partners to develop science-based solutions to those problems. Often we engage in program evaluation, and the systematic and continuous review of programs for service members and families. Ultimately, program evaluations and program reviews help professionals make informed decisions about which programs best fit their community’s identified need(s).
