Veterans and their families are a key military subgroup that the Clearinghouse is committed to supporting. Recent studies indicate that most veterans live healthy and productive lives. Nevertheless, a Clearinghouse review identified several challenges that veterans and their families face. To promote a smooth transition to civilian life for Service members, veterans, and their families, the Clearinghouse is actively conducting applied research, is engaging in evaluations of veterans’ programs, and is developing transition support products. In addition, the Clearinghouse provides data analysis, research support, and knowledge-based solutions to stakeholders who work with veterans and on veteran-related policy topics.
